About

Let me tell you a story about the Storyteller Mom: aka me.

Knowledge: My way of giving back to society!

Hey, I am Parwati, born to very simple, innocent, and big-hearted parents. From childhood, I have seen them live their lives for others. They always had a way of giving back—to the world, the universe, and society.

Being the elder daughter of the family, I witnessed everything my parents went through to keep our family together and overcome every challenge life threw at them. But one thing never changed—their love for each other. In fact, it only grew stronger with every passing day.

My two siblings and I hardly ever fought. The love we share is something that can never be measured.

All these hardships made me mature at a very young age. I became a quiet child who rarely had any demands or expectations. I saw the struggles my father faced in business and the sacrifices my mother made to keep our home filled with love.

I had many friends in school, but the truest friend I found was my best friend—who is now my husband.

As I completed my schooling and college, I dreamed of moving out, pursuing higher education, and becoming someone who could support my family. Coming from a small town, leaving home wasn’t easy. But I gathered the courage and took that step.

Living alone in a new city, I was excited to chase every dream I had ever imagined. But along with those dreams came loneliness. Being away from my parents and family at such a young age affected me deeply, and I went through depression.

With time, I slowly found my way back. I focused on my goals, completed my MBA, secured a good job, and moved to another city.

I worked with several companies and performed well in every role. But deep inside, something always felt missing. My heart constantly reminded me that I was meant for something bigger. Even today, I believe I am still discovering that purpose.

I married my high school sweetheart, who has stood by me through every phase of my life and every career decision. Together, we were blessed with a son, and words can never truly describe the happiness he brought into our lives.

During my pregnancy, I learned about Garbh Sanskar. For me, Garbh Sanskar wasn’t limited to rituals—it meant introducing my child to our own roots. I would read the Bhagavad Gita, shlokas, mantras, and stories from our history and culture.

One day, when my son was around six months old, I was telling him the story of Karna and his incredible strength.

Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind.

Our children know so much about Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and other fictional superheroes.

But do they know about our own heroes?

Do they know Karna, Bhishma, Hanuman, Maharana Pratap, Chanakya, or the countless extraordinary personalities from our history and culture?

That single thought changed everything.

I asked myself, “Why not share this knowledge with the world?”

And that’s where this journey began.

I created this page to share stories, mantras, and shlokas. Slowly, I started conducting storytelling sessions for children, and for the first time in my life, I felt something I had never experienced before.

I felt like I had finally found where I belonged.

Alongside this passion, I continue to run my businesses as well.

Earlier, I believed that giving back to society only meant donating money, doing seva, or helping financially.

But this journey taught me something beautiful.

Knowledge is also a form of seva.

Education, stories, values, and wisdom can transform lives just as much as any donation.

There are countless ways to give back to society.

This is mine.

Through stories.

Through our culture.

Through Sanatan wisdom.

Through helping people reconnect with their roots.

The journey has only just begun.

And there is still a very long way to go. ❤️
